Sometimes, we overcomplicate situation because we use the wrong parameters. Not with bad intention, though. Quite the contrary. Because most of the times, we do it because we care. Because we want to do our best.
One of those parameters, usually relate to duration. It's scary to change job, because we think that we'll stuck with it our whole life. It's scary to jump out of toxic relationship because we've gone through too much memories together.
Duration might matter. But who said that the change we make will be forever? We can of course change our plan if deemed necessary.
Who said that we need to settle in one city our whole life? We can always move out if needed.
Who said that we have to love just one person our whole life? All we can do is to try our best as long as we can.
Next time we make a decision, let's take a closer look at our parameters. We may not need to factor-in "forever" there. As forever is also a debatable duration.
